Q: Can I purchase a horse that‘s status is “shipped”?
A: In order to retrieve a horse that has been shipped 50% bail along with a $200 transport fee can be paid to have the desired horse brought back. The standard payment terms will apply.
Q: Does my horse need to be quarantined?
A: Quarantine is ALWAYS recommend even if your horse is not showing signs of sickness when you are ready to pick up. It is especially recommended if you do not have a place to keep your horse separate from other horses when he/she arrives home or if you do not have the proper training, knowledge and tools to care for a sick animal. We do have quarantine options available but depending on where you're located in may be in your best interest to find a facility closer to you for quarantine. Quarantine can be done in 14 days but we always recommend a full 30 day quarantine, because in some cases sickness may take up to 14 days to show outward signs.
Q: Can I come ride a horse I'm interested in
A: While we do not allow potential homes to ride at our facility due to lack of insurance coverage we try our best to make the best video possible given our situation to showcase our horses. We love to have our community out to our facility if scheduling with our staff permits, if you are able to schedule a time to come to our facility with the staff and are coming with intention to take a horse home with you keep in mind without a deposit any listed horse can sell at anytime.
Q: I was interested in a horse, but it is no longer listed. What does that mean?
A: We remove horses as they become unavailable to keep the focus on the horses still in need of homes as well as to keep our website simple and user friendly. Note the a full listing of each horse is on our Facebook page and the "status" of each horse listed is kept current at the top of their individual post at all times.
Q: What happens if two people send payment in on the same horse?
A: Payments can be made independently and it is important to check their current status before sending payment in. Their current status can be found on the top of their individual post. If we receive two payments on the same horse the purchasers will be informed and a refund will be sent to one of the buyers.
Q: I’m interested in a horse but would like to see more pictures and videos.
A: We try to list all available information on each horse listed. Feel free to ask questions, but generally further photo and video documentation will be unavailable. After purchase if you have to utilize our boarding option and would like photo updates on your horse we will do our best to keep you updated.
Q: I/ my hauler didn't receive a coggins at the time of pick-up/delivery. What do I do now?A: Please note that it is your/your haulers responsibility to ask for a coggins at the time of pick-up/delivery. If you did not receive your coggins at the time of pick-up/delivery feel free to contact us regarding the matter, but it will not be guaranteed available at this point. Also keep in mind as stated on our website some horses coggins are mailed to us and may not be in hand at the time of pick up. If a coggins test is needed to transport your horse please let us know when to send payment so we can arrange to have a new one pulled for you as we have no control over the postal times, we understand this can be inconvenient and will do our best to resolve it as quickly as possible and have them headed to their new home as soon as we can.
Q: What if I fail to make payments as agreed to in the terms?
A: As soon as you violate your payment schedule, you horse may be re-posted for sale. If you are the first one to make full payment on this horse he/she will remain yours. All payments go to your desired horse and are non refundable.
Q: I'm interested in a horse that says "HELD FOR HOME". What does this mean?
A: If a horse is "held for home" a sufficient payment has been sent to hold this horse. For example the horse may have a deposit or half bail holding him therefore sending a deposit or half bail will not hold him for you. Contact us immediately to check the current status or be placed on a "first to contact" list if he/she become available again.
Q: Is the mare I bought in foal?
A: If you get a mare there is always a chance it is in foal. If we have knowledge of a mare being in foal or exposed we will always disclose that information. We cannot guarantee your mare is in foal even if it was said to be in foal. If we have vet documentation stating the mare was determined to be in foal it will be disclosed in the post and sent to the new owner. You may also be able to have it checked by our own vet if requested.
Q: Is the horse I got sound?
A: As stated on our site we will notate any issues we see but we cannot guarantee any horse without being checked by a vet. Vet checks are often available but only if time permits. A payment must be made on your desired horse before a vet visit can be arranged. If your horse has a ship date posted and you would like a vet check preformed then your horse must be paid in full before a vet visit can be arranged. Vet checks are done at the new owners expense.
Q: What if something happens to my horse while boarding?
A: If your horse needs extra care we will notify and advise you what we believe the best action to take is. We are not responsible for any injuries or the death of any horse. If a horse needs to be seen by a vet we may take that upon ourselves if urgent. You are responsible for your purchased horse and its wellbeing but we have the right to treat a horse if we feel it is necessary while in our care.
